Lyften Bloggie - Quirks after update - Forums

I was running 1.04 of Lyften as we prepared our site to go live. Ver 1.1 was released justin time, so we upgraded before going live. However a few little quirks have creeped in.

Author's Avatars - I used to be able to load an avatar for an author, and now not only can I not, but I can't find anywhere to so, or worse yet, it appears teh upgrade did not keep the avatar data, nor do I see any directory structure for images other than the 'lyftenbloggie' entry off my main site images directory in the Joomla media manager. Am I missing something?

Themes - Is there any way to edit them at all, or alter the colors. I more of less inherited the site admin from the original developer, who had really messed up how certain things appear (H! through H6, etc) so currently none of the themes work well, and all the posts are essentially illegible unless you highlight them, but I can't alter the rest of the site (vis the css) to fix the appearance problem.

Category Listing - I had an issue with this, but found the answer in another post, and look forward to once again being able to put spaces in my category names.

Editor Hiccups - In several places, when I select an entry to edit via a checkbox, and click the 'edit' (most notable in the category tab off the main CP) I get 'Add new Category' and not an edit screen. Also, I am the super admin for the site, yet if I need to edit an entry, it refusese  to let me. The only one I can edit is the old 'Welcome to Lyften Bloggie' entry. All others bring up an empty editor screen.

Does anyone have any ideas or possible solutions?
Hi,

Author's Avatars - location hasn't changed: ROOT/components/com_lyftenbloggie/assets/avatars. As for the way the system calls and saves them it should not have changed either. This weekend I'll go over some of the code and see whats going on.

Themes - each theme has it's own settings, see if this helps: http://www.lyften.com/support/1-products/3-lyftenbloggie/10-themes.html

Category Listing - I'll add this to the next patch.

Editor Hiccups - This weekend I'll go over this more as well. When it refuses to let you edit what does it say? Can you post the URL (without domain) that it sends you to when it refuses access and when it sends you to an empty editor?

It really didn't keep the avatars. It wrote over the directory. I reconfirmed with ftp to look for my files.
