Hi there.
When using the main menu selection there is nothing to be seen. This happens with my 4.1.22 Database?
If I log in, select the menu: show my entries, everything shows up.
Do I have to update to 4.3?
Else: Great work in the backend.
Backend - is working
Front not - I still get a Error 404 or blank page
PHP : 5.2.9
MySQL: 5.1.28
Joomla! 1.5.14
any idea?
It in menu I add for eg. My Entires I Get "404 - Author #0 Not Found/Not Active"
/index.php?option=com_lyftenbloggie&view=mydetails&Itemid=11
but if i use only //index.php?option=com_lyftenbloggie
I can see entrys

I believe I fixed your error. It looked to be a chunk of old code that I didn't smack out of there before I released it.

Wouldn't work for me. Nothing showing up on the front.
I had high hopes for this one.
Update: If under 'Menu' Parameters (Basic) I leave the Select Category dropdown as 'Select Category, the blog entries show on the front end. If I select 'Bloggies', then no show.
Progress, but all is still not well.
When I clicked on 'Archive' all I got was a php error message.
"Fatal error: Call to a member function getListFooter() on a non-object in /*********/administrator/components/com_lyftenbloggie/views/archive/tmpl/default.php on line 41"
Even though all the Side Item plugins are enabled, none are showing.
Can't leave a message, Trackback ad Read More still show even when disabled, etc., etc., etc.
So far, a big disappointment. Way too many things not working as advertised, at least not on my site.
I remain hopeful all these issues can be resolved.
If so, after that, I would like to know if Windows Live Writer can be used to post to the blog using xmlrpc, and if so, how.

Ok, I think I understand. "My Entires" are for the authors to view and edit their post. It isn't made for the regular users to view post.
If you are getting the error "404 - Author Not found" that is because you are not logged in or you are not set up as an Author in the back end.
Author being disabled or when not having any authors or when not logged in will gives you this message when view "My Entires" in the front end.
No after enabling or assigning an Author this is what should be seen.
I've changed the language file some so there is not a confusion about the what the link does. It now stats "Manage My Details" and "Manage My Entries". In my next release I will change the ugly 404 page to a login page.

I believe I found the culprit. It was a little booboo in the code. It saw everyone as not logged in. AS for the documentation I am trying. I'm just one man doing this. I'm going to attempt to put online a FAQ for it soon.
Here is the new upgrade/update:
http://www.lyften.com/products/lyftenbloggie/extensions/upgrade/lyftenbloggie-upgrade-101.html
It will upgrade LyftenBloggie to v1.0.1 if needed and if not it will just update it.
Hope this helps,

I fixed the link above. But it is most likely the same update you used before. Can you post the URL of the page you are trying to view? You can omit you domain if you would like.
This is what the default main page URL should look like:
index.php?option=com_lyftenbloggie&view=lyftenbloggie&category=0&Itemid=97
Of course the Itemid will be different.
If you were trying to select a category that might have been the problem. There was an error in the menu elements. It is fixed now.

Please give this a try and let me know if it works.
