Hi folks,
Presently, I am only getting the default avatar with the comments. Is there a way to get the commenter's avatar?
I am now able to get the avatar with the original entry (using a modification to a lyftenbloggie.php that was posted)

Is there another modification for the commenter avatar?
Thanks
Harpist

Hi Harpist,
I don't seem to have this problem with my implementation of LyftenBloggie; however I am using community builder and have enabled this option in the backend of the lyften bloggie component.
Cheers,
Brian

Brian,
Thanks for your response. I am not using CB so I guess I need to amend my questions to see of there is a way to have commenter avatars without using CB.
Thanks

Hi all,
Having the same problem here. I get default avatar on a frontpage. I am using jomsocial and have option enabled in backend to use jomsocial avatar, but it doesn't work. However it works with comments and you can see users avatar from jomscocial there. Could that be because I had problems installing it and just copied unzipped content to com_lyftenbloggie folder on a webserver? Any thoughts?

Hey,
I've looked at the code some and can't find anything. I know it will go to the default if something went wrong finding one from another component. I didn't want people to get a broken image.
All I can say is that in the new version I'm using LyftenBloggie plugins (new to v1.1.0) to handle avatars. So the avatars are not hard coded into LyftenBloggie, they can be installed as they are needed. I hoping to get the new version out as soon as possible.
