Got some ideas about what should be added to the new release of LyftenBloggie post them here.
Also here is a small list of what has been added: http://www.lyften.com/news/1-latest-news/62-lyftenbloggie-110-news.html
A lot of things have been fixed in this release as well.
I have also attached some screen-shots of the new Access Groups function.

Lyften Bloggie - LyftenBloggie v1.1.0 Suggestions - Forums
Announcement:
Verbal Update
Two things that would be helpful as these items are available in most
blog engines.
1. I wanted to know if it was possible to add a feature for a HTML signature for each author?
2. Daniel, will the next update have a feature to allow "x" amount of words/letters of "x" amount of articles on the front page (or any page?) Will this also display thumbnail of an image for the article?

READ MORE LINK... It would seem that when I post an article, and I limit it to the default 2 paragraphs, and have the "show read more link when necessary" it doesn't show up. I'm guessing the majority of people won't bother thinking to click on the article title to see the whole thing. you can check it out at www.nexushairdesign.com

I like this idea as well. A read more link is always viable.

Hi,
1. Signature: That wouldn't be too hard. I can make it apart of the about block.
A quick thought:
In the new release I think I am going to change the Authors option in the backend into Profiles. With the new Access Groups that I'm adding there really isn't a need for some of the options that where in the backend Authors tab. I will add the option to block user.
2. X Amount: I don't know about this one. I am going to make an option for the entry to have an image. It seems to me the option I made in theme Anemoi caused some problems with improperly sized images. What is did was look through the entry before posting it and pull the first image if found and made it the entry's primary photo. It seemed to be a better idea in theory.

Will it be possible to reliably post images into blog postings in the next release?
(I just want it behave like a standard Joomla article)
In the current version the first image posted to an article replaces the avatar in the output, and subsequent images mess up the width of the column so that it overwrites into the right hand Joomla column.
My users are asking to post images in most of their blogs, and I can't help them do it with this version.
(I have resorted to creating a Joomla article with the images in and a link to that article - not a great solution).

Here is a sneakpeek of the changelog for version 1.1.0. It may not look like much but I have gutted LyftenBloggie, in fact I have created it's own little framework which controls it functions.
It's not done yet, so it's going to keep growing :-)

Hi Daniel,
I'd like to thank you for all the great work you have done producing this component and associated modules. It might be a bit late now however, I would like to make the following suggestions for possible inclusion to version1.1.0:
1) Auto Archive system (setting in the backed where you can choose how long before an entry is removed and archived)
2) RSS import utility (allowing the import of a feed where the administrator can preview the feed contents and publish a new entry by selecting one of the feed items)
I have posted other entries within this forum around the categories module not really working properly for me, I'd be interested to find out how you got it to work on your demo site?
Thanks again for the great work you have done on this.
Brian
