When I click on the Author link within any posted blog, the page returns with a "Entry#* (* represents the AUthors id in SQL) not found. I have applied the SQL injection patch, could this be the reaosn the link does not work?

WHen I initially checked mysql author table, there were no entried in the table, I went back into joomla admin, accessed the lyften componant, clicked on the authors tab, selected an author and pressed save. This added the table entry back into the database; however, the same error message is still being displayed... 

DOes anybody have any idea how to fix this? I have noticed the same error dsplaying on other sites to.
