I have the latest version of Lyften Bloggie with the newest Categories module installed as well. I'm running the latest Joomla 1.5xxx with SEF enabled (native SEF, no plugin or component).

 My issue : When published to my blog front page, the categories "menu" that appears only links to the exact same page as the front page (I.e. www.mysite.com/blog/) no matter what you click. I tried with SEF turned off and this worked fine. Any solutions to why this is happening? I'd hate to get rid of awesome Lyftonbloggie due to a conflict with SEF, but find it frustrating that users can't view categories properly.

Is it possible to create a "faux" categories menu using regular txt links? How does the module typically assemble the link for each category button??

The categories don't work and haven't worked for a couple of releases. If you scroll thorugh the forum (maybe on this page or the previous) someone posted a quick fix. Can't remember the exact title of the thread but it has 'categories' or 'category' in it.

Maybe this categories issue will be fixed in the next release.

This issue is not related to the slug / title fix that has already been posted. Please do not refer back to that post. I have implemented that fix in the hope that it would repair my SEF category problem. No Luck!!!

 On my site, I have the  "Search Engine Friendly URLs" and"Use Apache mod_rewrite" options selected in my Joomla install. My blog is located at "mysite.com/blog". When I rollover or click on either the category links in the categories module or the category link under each blog title entry, the link shows "mysite.com/blog" and not the actual category link. Of course this always takes me back to my front page. 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is there any feedback or research being done about the 3 SEF issues that have been posted the last few days? They all seem to be related. If either one of these issues are fixed, it will probably fix the other two. I have looked into the code, but my PHP skills are intermediate at best and I cannot seem to find why these particular features are not picking up the correct URL's when the SEF is enabled in Joomla.

I have referenced the SEF Enabled function written in the Lyften Bloggie Componant; however, the link displays back to front? instead of displayping like this:

http://localhost/blog/*category*

it displays like this:

http://localhost/*category*/blog

if I can find a way to reverse the order in which the *category* and blog suffix entries are displaying then this could be a fix?

Try to overwrite your files with new 1.0.4 for me that fix that problem...
